Alien Xenomorph Plush Toy

My custom designed small but scary Alien Xenomorph plush.
This tiny terror stands at a compact 8 inches (approx) tall made from soft black fleece with grey embroidered jersey insert details.
Other details to the design include black felt back and tail spikes, back tubes and a white felt teeth.
Crafted from my own unique pattern from my own concept.

*Fun Fact: All of the domain names for “Beautiful Monsters” were held but not used by the studio that made Aliens when I first started my website which is why it is call “My Beautiful Monsters”.

Werewolf Dipper Pines Plush Toy

I forgot to share this plushie commission from a few months back – Werewolf Dipper Pines.

He joined his sister, the Unicorn Mable Pines plush in his new home in May.

Inspired by the Gravity Falls character Dipper Pines this is a custom designed werewolf plush.

The completed plush stands roughly 6 inches tall (8-10 inches long to including his tail).

The plush includes the characters birthmark, hand-embroidered on his forehead under his hair.

He has machine embroidered appliqué eyes and felt claws.

Made from dark brown Minky fleece he is small but cuddly.

Blue Eyes White Dragon Custom Plush

Lately I have had more requests for larger and more complex plushies. The latest custom plush order was for a “chibi” Blue Eyes White Dragon from Yu Gi Oh.

I interpreted the character into my own original design to than translate it into a plush toy pattern. The plush is made from quality soft fleece, felt and freehand machine embroidery details.
The design includes:
– Plastic “boned” wings
– Unique appliqué head marking
– Re-enforced open mouth with teeth

Completed plush was meant to stands approx. 10 inches tall but it ended up being closer to 15 inches high making it a good huggable size.

Chinese Lion Dance Plushies

I was so excited when I received the custom order request from the Hung Gar Yau Shu Martial Arts School (HGYS) to create 3 Lion Dance plushies for their 30th Anniversary celebration! The request was for 3 Lions based on their clubs colors; red, gold and green.

Coming down with a nasty flu during process resulted in “false start” with a not quite right pattern and one superfluous lion. But once I recovered I was able to modify the pattern and finish the plushies. I’m so proud of them!

The Lions are roughly 28cm long (nose to tail). They are made from soft fleece with embroidered eyes and face details and felt “fringe”. The mirror on the forehead is made from silver faux leather. All of my toys are machine embroidered freehand.

The mouth is re-enforced so it does not bulge with the stuffing inside and there are hand stiched pom pom nose details. The soles of the feet are stiffened with plasticard to help them stand.

The Lion plushies were part of the raffle and I was told they were very popular on the night 😀

Custom Mabel Pines Unicorn Plush

The client that requested the small Dipper Pines plush also commissioned a unique Mabel Unicorn plush inspired by the Gravity Falls “The Last Mabelcorn” episode.

The finished plush is roughly 8 inches long (not including tail) and stands 12 inches tall including her horn. She is made from soft fleece with felt appliqué detail for the shooting star, eyes and mouth. The design also includes 3D eyelashes made from foam and plasticard re-enforced hooves.

Best Friends Biscuit & Potato Plushies

I recently had a very sweet custom plush order request to create a biscuit and a potato holding hands.

The story behind it is that the client gave a card to her friend about ten years ago that she has treasured with a cartoon of a potato and biscuit holding hands and the words “Friends: The Biscuit would only dare be just a biscuit when it is with it’s true friend the Potato”

The plush pair were ordered as a gift inspired by this card.

Approx 15cm tall plushies made of soft fleece with black plastic safety eyes.

Machine sewn with hand stitched details – felt sugar pieces and knotted potato ‘eyes”.

Filled with cuddly polyfil and plastic pellets for weight and balance.

Their hands are sewn together so they will never be separated 🙂

“Narrow the Dragon” Custom Plush

This dragon is probably one of the most complex plush toys I’ve made and I am so happy with the result!
The design is based on the customer’s partner’s character “Narrow”, transformed into a chubby cuddly plushie. Narrow the Dragon Concept Sketch

He is made from soft grey, black and dark red fleece with matching red felt appliqué and embroidery details.

The squeezable fat belly is weighted with plastic pellets and the wings are wired to be poseable.

The left horn has 4 black metal hoop earrings – shown in the last image.

The plush ended up being slightly larger then I planned – approx. 14 inches nose to tail (36cm)

Gravity Falls Dipper Pines Small Plush

More fun Christmas time plush commissions! Gravity Falls is one of my favourite cartoon shows at the moment, so I was pretty excited to be asked to make a Dipper Pines plush toy!

This character plush was challenging because of its size – approx. 8 inches (20cm) tall – to include all the details and the correct proportions.

Made from fleece and felt with embroidered details – including constellation birthmark (under his hair)
Filled with cuddly polyfil.
Clothing and hat are not removable.

As an added Christmas bonus I made a mini Journal out of printed card and watercolor paper scraps to send with the completed Dipper 🙂

Chubby Pug Plush

I’m really proud of this Chubby Pug Christmas plush order!

Custom designed pattern and handmade by me.

Approx. 11 inches (28cm) from nose to tail.

Made from velvety soft fleece with a faux leather nose and hand-stitched sculpted wrinkles on the face and feet pads.

Weighted with plastic pellets for a squeezable fat belly and stability in the legs.
