May the Fourth be with you – Happy Star Wars Day!

Happy #StarWarsDay #MaytheFourth
Here are some of my tributes to Star Wars from the last couple of years. The movies have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember so it was only recently that I realised what a influence they have been

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy was another show that I think I would have really liked but have only seen a few episodes because I didn’t get to watch a lot of tv growing up. Maybe too much teenage drama and 90’s fashion for me to watch now?

Daenerys Targaryen Inkn Drawing

Daenerys Targaryen – Copic Multiliners on bristol paper

I must admit that I only watched the first season of GoTs. While the show visually is very impressive I found that I didn’t really care about the characters and gave up. I’ve heard good things about the later seasons and can understand why its been so popular.

This is Daenerys at the start of her story, determined to find out who she is.

Han Solo Ink Drawing

A scruffy flyboy to go with my space farmboy. Han Solo – Copic Multiliners on bristol paper

I still have a 2x $50 commission slots open for ink drawings like these. Artworks can be picked up from Supanova Melb (THIS WEEKEND!) or Oz Comic Con.

Robert Smith Art Nouveau Portrait

A very special ink drawing commission of Robert Smith from The Cure. I took inspiration from their album covers and music videos designing the motifs.

Kylo Ren Sketch Commission

Example of my $50 Character Drawings I’m doing for Supanova Melbourne. I’m offering for the first time pre-show con sketches that can be picked up during the show. I do not do sketches while exhibiting at conventions. So if you are interested in a drawing from me email me to secure your spot. More details below:

Korra & Asami Art Nouveau Portraits

A pair of art nouveau portrait commissions I had the pleasure of doing last month. They request Korra with water elements and Asami with mechanical elements highlighting their relationship. I’m really happy with their expressions looking at one another.

These drawings were done on separate 9 x 12″ bristol paper using Copic Multiliners.

Xena Art Nouveau Portrait

Art Nouveau portrait of Xena Warrior Princess for my lovely friend’s birthday. I never got to watch the show (didn’t get to watch much tv growing up) but I think I would have liked it. Not sure about trying to watch it now…?

LARP Character Portrait Commission

Another different kind of portrait commissioned by my friend of him as his LARP/ Swordcraft character. He made most of his costume as well as his healer equipment himself.
